McKinney, TX — Two people were injured when a car and a tractor-trailer collided in McKinney, Texas, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. The accident took place on Central Expressway, around 7:30 in the evening.
According to reports, the tractor-trailer crashed into the car before running into the highway median and bursting on flames. The two injured were taken to local hospitals.
The crash resulted in a diesel fuel spill, which emergency crews spent several hours cleaning up.
The names of those involved haven’t been released, and it’s unclear what caused the initial collision. The investigation continues.
