Bossier City, LA — A woman was killed in a car accident in Bossier City, Louisiana, on Thursday, July 17, 2014. The accident took place at the intersection of Arthur Ray Teague Parkway and Shady Grove Drive, around two in the afternoon. The victim has been identified as 76-year old Mary Jolley.
Jolley was crossing Teague Parkway when her car was hit by a pickup truck. It’s not clear if the pickup truck was violating any traffic laws. Jolley and Brandon Valigora, the driver of the pickup, were taken to University Health in Shreveport. Jolley passed away a short time later. There’s been no update on Valigora. A female passenger in Jolley’s car was also treated.
Police believe that the weather may have contributed to the accident.
