Delhi Township, MI — A motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a pickup truck in Delhi Township, Michigan, on Saturday, August 9, 2014. The accident took place at the intersection of Bishop Road and Waverly Road.
According to witnesses, a pickup truck stopped at the stop sign at Bishop, before moving through the intersection. That was when it hit a motorcycle, being driven by an unidentified 55-year old.
There is no stop sign on Waverly, so the motorcyclist had the right of way.
Those investigating the accident say it’s likely that the driver of the pickup truck did not see the motorcycle. The accident is still under investigation.
