VALLEY TOWNSHIP, PA — A collision with a log truck left one woman dead in Valley Township, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014, according to the news report released by The Daily Item.
Police have said that they think Mary Gray was killed when the Chevy Malibu she was driving is believed to have crashed for reasons currently under investigation while driving on Highway 642 at the intersection with Route 54 around 1:45 Wednesday afternoon. Police believe Gray may have ran a blinking light at the intersection.

Mary Gray was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the truck was identified in the news report as 40-year-old Steven Shoemaker, who was hauling lumber for Shoemaker Trucking at the time of the accident.
Authorities say the investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
