TINTON FALLS, NJ — A pedestrian accident claimed the life of a 48-year-old man in Tinton Falls, New Jersey on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014, according to the news article from NJ Online.
Authorities think that 48-year-old Pedro Guerrero was killed when the van he was driving broke down in the shoulder of the Garden State Parkway. After he exited the vehicle, another van is belived to have struck him and two others around 9:15 Tuesday morning.

Pedro Guerrero was killed in the crash. Injured in the accident was Marcos De Pena, Mohammad Maibzada, and John Burwell. They were taken to area hospitals for treatment, where a hospital spokesperson declined to comment on their current conditions.
The investigation into the accident is being handled by New Jersey State Police.
Commentary:
With this accident, I’m most interested in having a look at the layout of the road, and the positioning of the vehicles at the time of the crash. This could tell us quite a bit about what may have happened. Judging from the news articles, which may be inaccurate, if the driver actually crossed over the line and struck the pedestrians, then that driver would more than likely be found liable for the accident, provided the news reports are accurate.
