VICTORIA, TX — A three-vehicle chain reaction crash sent two individuals to the hospital in Victoria, Texas on Thursday, July 17th, 2014, according to the news report from The Victoria Advocate.
Victoria Police say that they believe two people were hurt when a vehicle is thought to have run a stop light and collided with two vehicles while driving through the intersection of Rio Grande Street and Laurent Street around 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

Two people, including child were taken by EMS personnel to DeTar Hospital where updates on their conditions were not made available.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Amanda Anzaluda, who was cited for running the red light after the accident.
Commentary:
In a situation like this accident, you may assume that the person cited after the crash would be the default guilty party, and while this isn’t exactly a leap of faith, it isn’t exactly foolproof either. Whenever you are issued a moving violation, you have the chance to appeal the allegation in court, and the driver of this vehicle would be no exception. However, that being said, more than likely this person would be faulted for this accident if the news reports turn out to be accurate.
