Commentary:
Should you ever have the misfortune of finding yourself standing around after a hit-and-run accident what may happen next as far as the course of a case. Unfortunately, not a whole lot can be done for victims in these accidents until a driver can be apprehended. If a driver is never apprehended, and the victim has uninsured motorist coverage, a claim can be made through the victim’s insurance. If they do not have such a policy, they could find themselves between a rock and a hard place until the offending driver is located and a claim can be made against their insurance policy.
