DALLAS, TX — One person has died after a pedestrian accident that happened in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, July 12th, 2014, according to the news report from The DFW Police/Fire Scanner.
Investigators say that an unidentified person was killed when they were struck by a vehicle when they were walking or trying to cross the street near the intersection of MLK Jr and Holmes Street.

One person was killed in the accident. It is not clear from the report if they died at the scene, or at a nearby hospital a short time later.
The Dallas Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
