Local news sources in Amarillo TX stated that an accident on June 3 2012 left 22-year old Hector Alejandro Gonzales with life-threatening injuries. Police said that Gonzalez was at Austin Park with 19-year old Collin Lee Johnson and they were allegedly part of two different groups that were involved in an altercation. Police said that alcohol was a factor in the accident which happened at about 1:03 in the morning.

According to sources Johnson struck Gonzalez with his Toyota FJ Cruiser and sped away after the incident. Authorities were able to locate and apprehend Johnson later arresting him for intoxication assault. Gonzalez was taken to a local hospital and was last updated with critical injuries.
