MONTGOMERY, TX — One person was killed and a child was hurt in a single-vehicle accident that happened in Montgomery, Texas on Friday, July 4th, 2014, according to the release from The Montgomery County Police Reporter.
Police believe an as-of-yet unidentified 47-year-old man was killed and a 9-year-old boy was hurt when a vehicle is believed to have crashed and rolled for reasons currently under investigation while driving on Osborn Road around 5:00 Friday evening.

The 47-year-old driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene, while the child was taken by EMS personnel with a number of injuries.
The Montgomery Police Department is assisting with the crash investigation at this time.
