SAN CARLOS, CA — A two vehicle accident left one woman dead in San Carlos, California on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014, according to the news article released by the San Jose Mercury News.
Police think that Patricia Rogers was seriously hurt when a Chrysler PT Cruiser and a Dodge Charger collided for reasons currently under investigation at the intersection of Elm Street and San Carlos Avenue on Saturday.

Patricia Rogers sustained massive injuries in the collision and was transported to Stanford Hospital where she died a number of days after her arrival.
The California State Police are currently leading the crash investigation, and hope to release more information at a later date.
Commentary:
Bearing in mind there aren’t a whole lot of details floating around about this accident, but just from what I see in preliminary reports, and the fact that the crash took place at an intersection, I’m curious if one of the vehicles potentially ran the stop sign or red light. If this turns out to be the case, the offending driver would more than likely shoulder the fault in this crash, but I’d need to see more information to be able to say for sure.
