Commentary:
If police determine alcohol played a role in this accident, I highly recommend tracking down the whereabouts of the driver before the accident. You may wonder why, but believe it or not, Texas citizens are well armed with liquor liability laws that allow a claim to be filed against a bar that is found to have either over-served a customer, or failed to cut of a customer who was visibly intoxicated. I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it until the message is across: bars are only going to see drunk drivers as a liability by being held liable for drunk driving accidents.
