Conroe, TX — One man was injured and another was killed while motorcycle racing in Conroe, Texas, on Monday, June 30, 2014. The accident took place on Old Humble Pipeline Road.
Craig Perkins and Jeffrey Stansel were racing when Perkins hit the edge of a driveway and was thrown from his bike. Stansel ran off-road, hit a mailbox and a yard sign before landing in the woods. Stansel was injured but walking when emergency workers arrived on the scene. Perkins was declared dead a short time later.
Stansel was arrested and charged with racing causing death.
