Commentary:
Should you ever find yourself in the situation of dealing with a hit-and-run fact pattern, it is scary and frustrating to know that not much can be done besides deal with insurance until the driver is found. However, once the driver is found, they can be both held responsible for their actions, and it can be determined why they ran in the first place, which could lead to even more liable parties, depending on how the facts line up and what may have happened.
