CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A single-vehicle accident left one man dead in Corpus Christi, Texas over the June 21st Weekend according to the report from KIII-TV.
Police have said that they believe 32-year-old John Skinner was killed when the vehicle he was driving crashed after authorities he believe he fell asleep behind the wheel.

It is not immediately clear if Skinner was killed instantaneously in the crash, or if he died at a nearby hospital sometime after the accident.
Corpus Christi Police are assisting with the accident investigation.
Commentary:
This may seem like it could be in some way related to workers compensation, but I highly doubt it based on what I see here. If the driver was within his scope of employment, or on duty in any fashion there could probably be a claim, but if he was simply driving home as the news report indicates, then I doubt it, but I couldnt say for sure without a closer look.
