Bay County, MI — Donald Kloppe Jr. was killed when the car he was a passenger in collided with a gravel hauler in Bay County, Michigan. The accident took place at the intersection of Mackinaw and Salzburg Roads, around one in the afternoon on Tuesday, June 24, 2014.
Kloppe was a passenger in a car being driven by Vida Henry. Henry ran a red light and collided with the gravel hauler.
Kloppe was pronounced dead at the scene. Henry was taken to Mid-Michigan Medical Center, where she was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the gravel truck was uninjured. Officials have identified him as Rick Frayer.
