Franklin County, AR — A woman was killed on Monday, June 23, 2014, after driving into the path of an 18-wheeler. The accident took place on AR 22, near Charleston, around 11:45 in the morning.
Reports indicate that the Sharla Shirley had driven off the road and into a ditch. She then came back onto the road, drove into oncoming traffic and hit the 18-wheeler.
At this time there’s been no information given on what caused the accident to occur. Officials report that the driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.
