Ashley County, AR — A man was killed after being hit by a car while riding his bike in Ashley County, Arkansas, on Friday, June 13, 2014. The accident took place on Highway 36, around 3:15 in the afternoon.
Edward White was riding along Highway 36 when he was struck from behind by another vehicle. White was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the second vehicle, who has not been identified, was uninjured.
It’s unclear what caused the collision. No contributing factors have been identified.
