Crawford County, AR — Three people were injured in an accident in Crawford County, Arkansas, on Thursday, June 19, 2014. The accident took place near the intersection of Highway 64 and Firefly Lane, around seven in the morning.
According to the police report, Ira Gipson was one of three people in a vehicle that was hit by Rilla Leakey, who had lost control of her vehicle while attempting to negotiate a curve. Leakey was taken to Mercy Medical Center, where she later died.
At this time, there’s no information on how fast Leakey was traveling when the accident occurred.
Gipson, along with the two others in the car, were also taken to Mercy for treatment of their injuries.
