Commentary:
Work accidents in general tend to lean toward workers compensation if the employer turns out to be a subscriber, but the problem with workers compensation is its obvious propensity to favor the employer versus the victim. In most cases, the victim is sent to a doctor connected with the employer, who has a vested interest in downplaying injuries in order for a continued relationship with the employer. This is where second opinions and doing your own leg work can help gain an edge on a system that has had decades of practices combating work injury claims.
