Commentary:
Whenever I see an accident where a driver has fallen asleep at the wheel, I cant help but feel that there may be more going on than what we see in a news report. If this accident was caused by a sleepy driver, was the driver under the influence of any prescription medication, drugs, or alcohol? While it is mentioned nowhere in the news article, it may be worth looking into because questions could be answered that could point to more liable parties in cases like this one.

These people were our very good friends and we are still in shock that this happened. Personally I find it hard to believe that Mr. Black fell asleep as he managed to navigate the whole curve without going off the road and after he made it all the way through the curve he then crossed the center line and hit the right front corner of my friend’s vehicle. Who falls asleep while navigating a curve in broad day light? And he is an airplane pilot to boot. Wonder how many times he fell asleep during curves in planes..
