Drew County, AR — Two people were injured and another was killed in an accident that took place on Highway 278 in Drew County, Arkansas. The accident occurred on Monday, June 9, 2014, around 11:15 in the morning.
According to reports, Maria Valdes was driving along Highway 278 and lost control of her vehicle. She swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a car being driven Kisha Ollison and Kylon Cross before being ejected from her vehicle. Emergency workers pronounced her dead at the scene.
What caused the accident is still unknown. The collision is still being investigated.
