Pecos County, TX — Two women were killed and another two were injured in an accident in Pecos County, Texas, on Sunday, June 8, 2014. The accident took place on Interstate 10, around 4p.m.
According to reports, a Chevrolet Suburban was driving along the highway when its driver lost control. The Suburban began swerving before it drove in the median and rolled. Two women were killed in the accident, and another two were injured. The injured women have been identified as Khristian Frias and Destoni Frias. Emergency workers took them to Irran General Hospital.
There’s been no update on their condition.
At this time, there’s been no reason given for the crash. The police are investigating the accident.

The reports I’ve read on this accident don’t make any mention of who was driving at the time. That’s important because in accidents in which no other vehicles are involved, it’s usually the driver who is going to be found liable, and have to make restitution to anyone injured in the accident. Many people forget that that’s something passengers are entitled to, and that accidents involve more than just the two drivers.
