CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — One person was hurt in a collision between two pickup trucks in Corpus Christi, Texas on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014, according to a release from KZTV-10.
Investigators have said that they have reason to believe that one person was injured in a crash with a city owned pickup truck while driving on Trojan Drive.
Scene of the Accident
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.

You may think that handling a government vehicle accident is no different than your typical run of the mill collision with a commercial vehicle, but this is not correct. When dealing with claims against a government entity, the government has set up miles of red tape and hurdled before anything can really be done. This included extremely stringent time standards and statues that often nullify a case before it can even be made.
