MILLER COUNTY, MO _- One man was injured in a head-on accident with a semi-truck in Miller County, Missouri on Wednesday, May 21st, 2014, according to Lake Expo News.
Authorities with information from the crash investigation currently estimate that 54-year-old Harold Merritt was hurt when the Oldsmobile Cutlass he was driving skidded into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer while driving on Highway 54 before striking another passenger car on Wednesday afternoon.
Scene of the Accident
Harold Merritt was taken by EMS personnel to a nearby hospital for the treatment of his serious injuries.
No other injuries were mentioned in the report.
Miller County Sheriff’s Office representatives are handling the accident investigation.
