Marshall County, WV — One person had to be airlifted to an area hospital after a collision between a car and a tanker truck that was carrying chlorine gas.
The accident occurred Route 2 in Marshall County, West Virginia, around four in the morning. Details on the circumstances surrounding the accident aren’t available at this time.
The names of those involved haven’t been released.
After the accidents, everyone within a half-mile radius was evacuated as a precaution.

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered before we know how this accident is going to play out. If the driver of the tanker truck is found to be at fault, then of course he would be liable, not only for the accident, but any injuries that could possibly arise from the chlorine gas that was leaked out. Now, I’m only speculating here. We’ll need to wait until more details are released before we know how to proceed.
