Commentary:
In my experience, rear end accidents are almost always the fault of the rear driver, but this is not a certain fact. While I’m not suggesting that is what happened here, there is always the chance that the brake lights on the front vehicle were not working properly, or the brakes on the motorcycle failed before the accident. Simply blaming the driver as a knee-jerk reaction to a news article would be jumping the gun. If this accident were caused by a fault in the vehicles, be it the front or rear vehicle, the evidence would reflect that, and a trained eye could easily see what really happened behind the scenes of the crash.
