Commentary
There are a couple of things we need to be looking at with this accident. One, the FedEx truck. The news reports say that it was parked at the time of the accident. Where was it parked? Is it possible that it was parked illegally? The second thing we need to look at it is the driver of the car. Reports say only that the 16-year old was in the car, so I’m assuming that he wasn’t driving. Is it possible the driver shouldn’t have been behind the wheel? Was he driving recklessly? Hopefully, these are things the police report will be able to shed some light on. Without answers to these questions, we won’t really know how to proceed here.
