Commentary:
People need to react fast when they see that alcohol is involved in an accident. First order of business? Finding out where the driver was coming from before the accident. Why? Because in the State of Texas, if he had come from a bar, there is a chance that the bar broke the law, and could be liable for the accident. Why is this? Texas lawmakers saw no real difference between a bar and a doctor who can write prescriptions. If a doctor mis-prescribes too much medicine and something goes wrong, they are potentially liable for the accident.
