Commentary:
When you hear commercial vehicle accident, the first thing that may come to your head is a big tractor-trailer, from a big, recognizable nationwide company, when in reality, most commercial vehicles are not part of a major fleet, but are the only vehicle in the stable of a small business. Because of this, sometimes small business vehicles can go long periods without necessary repairs or upkeep to stretch the companies dollar as far as possible. Unfortunately the cost of these decisions is passed down on the victims of any accident the vehicle may cause while it is in disrepair. If police find that the truck crossed into oncoming traffic because of a mechanical failure, the trucking company may be in some part responsible for the accident.
