Commentary:
I try my best to make people aware of the dangers tractor-trailer pose on the road, but people do not seem to understand that tractor-trailer drivers are prone to the same mistakes everyday drivers make every single day. Drivers forget to check their mirrors, play on their phones, or program their GPS while behind the wheel all the time. Considering motorcycles are difficult to see from a regular driver’s perspective, they can be especially easy to overlook as a truck driver. Is it really outside the realm of possibility that the truck driver failed to check his mirrors before changing lanes?
