Corpus Christi, TX — An alleged DUI accident in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Sunday injured two people, according to news reports.
The accident took place on Crosstown Expressway around 1:45 in the morning. A man traveling in a truck with two passengers drove off the road, where he hit a light pole.
A passerby was able to help a female in the front seat, and another man in the back from the wreck. The driver of the truck had to be extricated, however, by emergency workers arriving on the scene, and sustained serious injuries to his arm where he was pinned.
The driver is expected to be brought up on DUI charges.
