Commentary:
Whenever there is an accident with an ejection, people automatically assume that they were not belted into the car, and there is nothing they could have done, when this really isn’t the case with many accidents. Just like any other part on your vehicle, or any mechanical device with moving parts for that matter, seat-belts can falter and fail. The problem is, you only know a transmission breaks when the car doesn’t move, but you never know what may be wrong with the seat-belt because they arent regularly exposed to the stresses that the device is supposed to function under. Fortunately any time a part fails, it leaves evidence of such a failure, and a trained investigator may be able to spot what the initial police report may have overlooked.
