Commentary:
While we do not yet know what may have caused this particular accident, people may be confused as to how a single-vehicle accident may not be the fault of the driver. First of all, assuming that every vehicle in a single-vehicle accident was in perfect mechanical order at the time of the crash is simply irresponsible. If this vehicle had gone in for repairs recently and the repairs were faulty, which caused this accident, either the manufacturer of the vehicle or the repair shop may bear some liability for the accident if their actions caused the crash or made it worse. These kinds of accidents happen very frequently, and unfortunately people are very quick to blame the victims.
