Commentary:
Whenever people mention commercial vehicle accidents, they seem to have an idea that they all involve trucks that belong to massive trucking companies, when in actuality, a lot of them involve the only vehicle a small-business owns. If anybody knows the nature of small business, sometimes very needed things go ignored or overlooked in order to stretch a dollar. When these desperately needed things include vehicle repairs. If a mechanical failure caused by disrepair was a factor in this accident, the business in question may bear at least some of the liability for this accident, depending on how the facts line up.
