St. Paul, MN — Police believe that alcohol played a role in an accident in St. Paul, Minnesota, that injured six people. The accident took place on Thursday, near the intersection of Maryland Ave. and Johnson Parkway.
The accident occurred when Jim Xiong collided with a car being driven by Tou Pao Lee. Lee was traveling with his son and two daughters. He and his son were both thrown from the vehicle. His daughters were also injured.
Lee was taken to Regions Hospital, while his children were taken to Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. Their current condition is unknown.
Xiong and his passenger, Jennifer Hang sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have said that they’ve performed toxicology tests on both drivers are waiting for results.
