Traverse City, MI — One man was injured and another was hospitalized after an accident in Traverse City, Michigan, that took place on Thursday, April 10. The accident occurred on U.S. 31, in the area of Three Mile Road.
Two vehicles were traveling east on 31 when they collided. One car was sent spinning into a utility pole, while the other drove away.
The driver of the car that hit the pole was from Traverse City. The driver of the car that fled the scene was from Kingsley. Their names haven’t been released yet.
The man from Traverse City was sent to Munson Medical Center in serious condition. The man from Kingsley was found at a hotel a short time later.
According to authorities, both men were driving while intoxicated. The man from Kingsley was also found to be in possession of marijuana.
