Napa County, CA — An accident in Napa County, CA, has left a four-year old boy dead, and four others injured. It occurred last Sunday when an SUV being driven on State Highway 12 near Duhig Road crossed over the middle line and into the oncoming lane of traffic. There, it struck a Lexus head on. According to witnesses, the Lexus and the SUV had almost no time to react.
The four-year old boy was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Also injured in the accident was Cindy Pawlcyn, a Bay Area chef who owns several California restaurants. She and her husband were driving the Lexus hit by the SUV. The injuries sustained by her and her husband, as well as the man and woman in the SUV have not been elaborated on.
The accident is still being investigated. The police don’t believe alcohol to have been a factor.
