IRVING, TX — A child was taken to the hospital after a major pedestrian accident that took place in Irving, Texas on Friday, April 4th, 2014, according to the news report from My Fox DFW.
Authorities have said that they have reason to believe a child was hurt when they were struck by a vehicle while walking with a group of children on MacArthur Boulevard near the John Haley Elementary School on Friday afternoon.

The child was taken by EMS to Chidren’s Medical Center of Dallas where an update on her condition and the nature of her injuries were not made available.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
