PLANT CITY, FL — A major head-on collision took the lives of four people in Plant City, Florida on Friday, March 28th, 2014, according to the report released by The Tampa Bay Times.
Police have said that they believe 19-year-old Lauren Phillips was killed when the vehicle in which she was a passenger was struck head-on by a BMW that crossed over the median while driving on Highway 60.

Emergency responders pronounced Lauren Phillips dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as Rolando Silva, who was also killed in the collision.
The investigation into the accident is being handled by officials from the Florida State Police.
