FRESNO COUNTY, CA — Two people were killed and three children were hurt in a major accident that happened in Fresno County, California on Friday, March 21st, 2014, according to a report from KFSN.
Officials say that both Christiana and Maria Ledesma were killed when the vehicle they were in was struck by a pickup truck while driving near the intersection of Jensen and Goldenrod around 7:30 in the morning on Friday.

Both Christina and Maria Ledesma were pronounced dead on the scene by emergency responders. Two of the children in the vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital for the treatment of unspecified injuries after the crash.
The investigation is currently underway by officials from the California Highway Patrol.
