CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — A head on collision with an alleged drunk driver sent three individuals to the hospital in Chatham Township, New Jersey on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014, according to the news article from the New Jersey Star Ledger.
Police have said that they have reason to believe three individuals were hurt when a vehicle crossed into their path unexpectedly while driving in the 700 block of River Road. The vheicle collided head-on with another car that was driving the other direction.
Scene of the Accident
Three people were taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Marcia Salazar-Cerdas, who currently faces drunk driving charges stemming from the accident.
New Jersey State Police were assisting with the crash investigation.
