LUBBOCK, TX — A single-vehicle crash took the life of one man in Lubbock, Texas on Wednesday, March 26th, 2014, according to a news report from Lubbock Online.
Police have said that they have reason to believe 28-year-old Eduviges Payan was killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in hopped the curb and crashed into a fence at the intersection of 98th Street and Knoxville Avenue around 10:30 in the morning.

Authorities pronounced Eduviges Payan dead on the scene when they arrived. Two other people in the vehicle were identified as Joseph Sneed and Joey Gonzales who were taken to area hospitals after the accident.
The investigation is being handled by officials from the Lubbock Police Department.
