Sources say that a firearm discharged during a gun safety class injuring two people. The class was being held in a residence in Bedford County which is a part of Roanoke VA. Michael and Michelle Deel were injured when Michael accidentally fired his .45-caliber handgun.

Reports claimed that Deel accidentally shot himself in his hand then the bullet struck his wifes leg. They were taken to a nearby medical center for treatment and were in stable condition on April 24 2012. The class was being supervised by Thomas Starke according to authorities.
