According to news reports a robbery and assault in Rusk County TX left an unnamed man with injuries and hospitalized. The incident happened on March 24 2012 in the early morning. The man was reportedly being driven from work by Courtney Gail Jones 34 who stopped at a local church on County Road 263.

Upon stopping the car in the parking lot 34-year old Richard Jones and Victor Jones exited another vehicle and forcibly removed the van from Courtneys car. The two men allegedly struck and kicked the victim perhaps using a baseball bat as well until the victim could stand up. They then robbed him of his cell phone authorities say and left. On April 16 2012 the three Joneses turned themselves into local police. Officials are expected to investigate the March assault incident.
