New Orleans, LA – A man was injured when a car struck him in Avondale on Monday, December 7th, 2015. The accident happened around 11:00 am.
21-year-old Rasheed Williams was in the parking lot of a convenience store in the 3900 block of Highway 90 when he moved forward, striking a pedestrian and pinning him against the wall. He then fled the scene.
The 19-year-old man was taken to a hospital suffering a leg injury.
Williams was later booked with hit and run involving a serious injury or fatality and reckless operation of a vehicle.
