Jasper, TX — Two people were injured in a car accident in Jasper, Texas, on Friday, February 13, 2015. The accident took place at the intersection of East Gibson and Graham streets, around 3:30 in the afternoon.
Local reports identified J.P. Collins as the driver of an Oldsmobile who pulled out of parking lot on the south side of East Gibson and came into the path of Steve Smith, who was traveling west. Smith hit Collins’ vehicle on the front and passenger side.
Smith, along with Margaret Clursky, as passenger in Collins’ vehicle were both injured and taken to a local hospital. Police say that the injuries they sustained were not life threatening.
The accident is still being investigated. It’s unclear if Collins will be cited for the accident.
