Scene of the Accident
While many people may blame pilots for these kinds of accidents, there is always the possibility that the plane was the cause of the accident. Well, if the plane suffered from some kind of catastrophic failure or malfunction before the accident, then the NTSB investigation may uncover it. Unfortunately, due to the NTSB’s massive backlog of cases, it could take them a year, or even a year and a half to find. This can eradicate up to 75% of the time families have to make a claim, should one be necessary after the investigation. To possibly get more answers, faster, surviving family can have their own investigation conducted by people not burdened with thousands of other cases.
