Las Cruces, NM — Four people were hospitalized following a wrong-way car accident in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Saturday, December 13, 2014. The accident happened around 10:00 in the morning on Sonoma Ranch Blvd.
Police say the man who caused the accident was driving north at close to 100 mph in the south lanes of Sonoma Ranch. He crashed into three vehicles, the third was carrying two adults and a child.
A man and child in the vehicle were taken to an El Paso-area hospital, while the wrong-way driver as well a woman were taken to a hospital in Las Cruces. Their injuries weren’t life-threatening.
While police have not yet filed any charges in the matter, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
