Katy, TX — Last night, a man was taken to a hospital in Houston after he was in a serious car accident in Katy. No names were released, but police said the victim was injured when his car rolled over near the train tracks off Old Katy Road.
This happened around 10:30 p.m. at night, they said, along Old Katy Road. The man was driving west along Old Katy Road in his gold or silver-colored sedan when he lost control and veered off the roadway.
His car then lost control after hitting part of the railroad overpass’s construction. That caused his car to flip over, police said, which trapped the driver inside. He was extricated with the help of paramedics, who immediately took him to a hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
The cause of the accident still isn’t clear, but the HPD said they’d be investigating some more.
